Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier reef is the worlds largest reef system comprised of over 2900 reefs and 900 islands with an abundance of marine life.  Diving and Snorkelling tours leave daily from Cairns

Lake Eacham and
Lake Barrine

A mere 1 hours drive from Cairns are the fresh water volcanic lakes of Lake Eacham and Lake Barrine, take a swim, have a Bar B Que and relax at these pristine lakes.  Lake Barrine has a tour boat that takes you around the lake showing you exotic fauna and flora like the bottom breathing turtles, or you can walk around the lakes on a walking track through untouched rainforest

Resort Islands

A short way off the coast are the islands of the Great Barrier, hosting 5 star resorts.  Pamper your self in one of these stunning locations such as Double Island or Fitzroy Island, take a day trip to Green Island or stay a while in their 5 star resort

The Northern Beaches

The northern beaches are located a very short drive from Cairns for your to relax and work on your holiday tan and half an hour north stop  in Port Douglas and enjoy fantastic beaches, cafes and shopping.

Kuranda and the Tablelands

For a day you'll remember take the Cairns Skyrail up the mountains and over the rainforest for 7.5km and you'll arrive at the sleepy  market town of Kuranda, set in the pituresque tablelands rainforest.  Take the Kuranda Scenic Railway back to Cairns stopping at amazing waterfalls on the way, wrapping up a truly memorable day

Local Tourist Attractions

In Cairns there is lots to see and do, Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park host day and night tours including a show.  See Kangaroos and Cassowary's up close at the Cairns Topical Zoo  and have your photo taken holding a koala. Travel up to Hartleys Crocodile Adventures where you'll  see the crocodiles up close and personal in their natural habitat.
